Hardware

Ericsson's hardware development groups in Coventry are responsible for developing a wide variety of hardware; ranging from power supplies and forced-air cooling systems to 40 Gbit/s optical interfaces for its range of world-beating SDH, WDM and Ethernet data products.
Software

Ericsson has software development groups across the UK who develop a wide variety of software; ranging from Real-Time Embedded , through HCI applications, to Network Management for an extensive range of products including Ericsson’s world beating range of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy and Data transmission equipment (Multi-Service Provisioning Platforms), Photonics, IMS Technologies, Presence Group Management and IMS Telephony Application Server.
Global Services

Global Services Delivery Centre (GSDC UK) is a team who deliver professional services to Ericsson clients on a global basis. These services support customers test and live networks and includes the testing and intergration of hardware and new feature software.


The Global Services teams are based out of Coventry and Guildford.
Service Delivery

Service Delivery NWE, is a centralised organisation within the Market unit that delivers Network Technology Consulting, Network Rollout, Software Supply, Network Integration and Customer Support. Furthermore it drives the overall sales for the market unit through the delivery of both product and services and the management of the customer delivery relationship


Project Management

Project Management are responsibility for monitoring and controlling on a day-today basis all aspects of the project lifecyle from project conception to acceptance. We have Project Management teams across various UK sites, however these positions are mainly in Guildford and Coventry.
